HOW IT ALL STARTED

Meet KATHRYN

I began my career as a wedding photographer almost 15 years ago, first working for a renown Bay Area wedding photographer, and then officially opening Kathryn Lewis Photography in 2014. I loved capturing intimate moments, getting (maybe overly) excited about good light, traveling to gorgeous places, and helping set up the perfect timeline and obsessing about the details so clients’ wedding days could be seamless and stress free. But I famously once said, “I don’t love big weddings.” Enter elopements and intimate weddings. The freedom to plan your day however, wherever you want, in a way that feels true to you as individuals and a couple…could there be anything better?!

Meet Your DREAM TEAM

The team started growing in 2017, and Gina, James, and Megan have all been with KLP since then! Gina shoots regularly at San Francisco City Hall and lets us have more availability for your big day there! James second shoots for bigger groups, or joins us on some backcountry elopements. Megan is the genius people don’t get to meet, ensuring that all your photos get back on time and the backend systems are all working well!
